La r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions d'oxydes d'azote (NOx) dans les chaudi\u00e8res \u00e0 vapeur et les br\u00fbleurs industriels peut \u00eatre l'un de nos meilleurs alli\u00e9s dans la lutte contre l'impact environnemental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les NOx des chaudi\u00e8res, qui se composent presque enti\u00e8rement d'oxyde nitrique (NO) sortant de la chemin\u00e9e et g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de dioxyde d'azote (NO2) 1% ou 2%, ont fait l'objet d'\u00e9tudes et d'analyses approfondies dans le but de mettre au point des mesures de contr\u00f4le permettant de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de NOx tout en maintenant l'efficacit\u00e9 thermique des syst\u00e8mes de chaudi\u00e8res industrielles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces recherches, de nouvelles techniques de conception sp\u00e9ciales sont apparues pour les nouveaux br\u00fbleurs industriels et les chaudi\u00e8res des centrales thermiques afin de r\u00e9duire leurs \u00e9missions polluantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'une de ces techniques est la recirculation interne forc\u00e9e (FIR), qui combine la combustion pr\u00e9m\u00e9lang\u00e9e avec une recirculation interne partielle des gaz de combustion et de l'\u00e9tat de l'air. De cette mani\u00e8re, le m\u00e9lange combustion-air des syst\u00e8mes de chaudi\u00e8res industrielles peut \u00eatre contr\u00f4l\u00e9, ce qui permet d'atteindre les objectifs suivants<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pour obtenir une combustion stable et uniforme.<\/li><li>R\u00e9duire au minimum les temp\u00e9ratures maximales des flammes.<\/li><li>\u00c9viter la formation de poches d'oxyg\u00e8ne \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/li><li>Am\u00e9liorer le transfert de chaleur pour r\u00e9duire les temp\u00e9ratures de combustion.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Il permet \u00e9galement de r\u00e9duire la formation de NOx tout en conservant les bonnes caract\u00e9ristiques de combustion du combustible. Les br\u00fbleurs conventionnels qui n\u00e9cessitent un 35% FIR pour atteindre des niveaux de NOx inf\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 9 ppm en sont un exemple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FIR ou FGR pour la r\u00e9duction des NOx dans les chaudi\u00e8res \u00e0 vapeur ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La recirculation interne forc\u00e9e (FIR) est plus efficace sur le plan \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique que les br\u00fbleurs concurrents qui utilisent des niveaux \u00e9lev\u00e9s de recirculation interne forc\u00e9e, un faible exc\u00e8s d'air ou l'injection d'eau ou de vapeur. En outre, les m\u00e9thodes concurrentes sont p\u00e9nalis\u00e9es sur le plan \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique par des pertes de chemin\u00e9e et des besoins en puissance de ventilateur plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutefois, pour les installations existantes, la m\u00e9thode FGR (recirculation des gaz de combustion) offre les conditions \u00e9conomiques les plus favorables et potentiellement les r\u00e9ductions d'\u00e9missions les plus importantes. Le recyclage des gaz de combustion permet de r\u00e9duire la formation de NOx en diluant le m\u00e9lange gaz-air et en abaissant ainsi la temp\u00e9rature de la flamme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les gaz de combustion doivent \u00eatre m\u00e9lang\u00e9s \u00e0 l'air de combustion qui passe par les br\u00fbleurs industriels, de sorte que la recirculation des gaz de combustion par le bas de la chaudi\u00e8re a peu d'effet sur la formation de NOx. En fait, des \u00e9tudes ont permis d'obtenir des r\u00e9ductions d'\u00e9missions de plus de 50% avec une recirculation des gaz de combustion comprise entre 20 et 40%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La recirculation des gaz de combustion dans la partie inf\u00e9rieure de la chambre de combustion a \u00e9t\u00e9 plut\u00f4t inefficace pour r\u00e9duire la formation de NOx * la r\u00e9duction n'\u00e9tait que d'environ 15% \u00e0 20% avec des niveaux d'O2 inf\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 environ 0,8%, la recirculation des gaz de combustion a eu tr\u00e8s peu d'effet sur la formation de NOx.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats refl\u00e8tent la th\u00e9orie selon laquelle les gaz de combustion doivent \u00eatre m\u00e9lang\u00e9s dans la flamme pour \u00eatre efficaces et, lorsque le m\u00e9lange est bon, les gaz de combustion servent de diluant, r\u00e9duisant ainsi le pic de temp\u00e9rature de la flamme et la formation de NOx.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En outre, l'exp\u00e9rience montre que pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de NOx des br\u00fbleurs industriels modernes \u00e0 30 ppm ou moins, corrig\u00e9es \u00e0 3% O2 comme l'exigent actuellement certains pays en mati\u00e8re de qualit\u00e9 de l'air, il faut r\u00e9duire la teneur moyenne en oxyg\u00e8ne de l'air du br\u00fbleur \u00e0 18% (l'air frais contient 20,9%O2).
