New intelligent technologies facilitate greater control of condensing boiler energy efficiency<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In the latest revision of the European directive on energy efficiency in buildings, ratified on January 31 of this year, the digitization of systems has become one of the main bets for an energy sustainable future. With this objective in mind, Flamtec provides digitalized solutions for condensing boilers with our burners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the rise of the Industry 4.0 revolution, European regulations encourage the use of smart technologies in buildings, as greater digitalization promotes greater control of heating systems and therefore optimizes energy performance while facilitating savings and reducing the emission of polluting gases into the atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new requirement joins the ErP (energy related products) directive of 2015, which affected all those systems that consume energy, such as electronic appliances, industrial boiler systems or hot water and heating boilers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In air conditioning, also known as the Ecodesign Directive, promoted the use of condensing boilers for more efficient heat recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why use condensing boilers?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The ErP directive dictated that heating and combi boilers with outputs up to 400kW meet the new NOx emission and energy efficiency standards. In this way, inefficient conventional boilers were out of the market, giving way to condensing boilers, the best boilers to achieve the necessary energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The condensing technology of these boilers consists of heat recovery through the phase change of the steam contained in the combustion gases, using the heat of the gases to heat the boiler water, which must be between 35\u00ba and 45\u00ba, and expelling them with a minimum temperature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When this operation is performed, condensing boilers provide a number of advantages that make them the best boilers for use in both residential buildings and consumer installations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
